The Institute for Future Health is a joint venture between Arizona State University and the University of Arizona, serving as a centralized hub to identify and manage multi-institutional biomedical projects using the vast array of expertise and resources within Arizona’s public academic institutions.

Our approach

Many disciplines. One centralized hub.

We concentrate on large-scale, multidisciplinary biomedical projects involving multiple institutions at the convergence of biomedicine, engineering and large-scale data analytics. The IFH focuses on a range of major healthcare challenges including infectious and cardiovascular diseases in collaboration with private sector partners, academic institutions and healthcare provider networks.

Our expertise

Our multidisciplinary scientific team has decades of industry, clinical and academic experience in basic research, clinical research, business development, and regulatory affairs. The diversity of IFH’s team allows us to accommodate a wide range of projects across multiple therapeutic sectors and scientific disciplines.

Ongoing projects

Our current projects include investigations into cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR), hyperspectral analysis of tumors, the efficacy of CDC vaccines for flu and COVID-19, large-scale data analysis of infections and more.
